Costs and Budget

When it comes to putting together the budget for your project we will always make sure you understand everything that is included. But one thing that you can be certain of is that changes to your plan will inevitably take place along the way and that will almost certainly impact both cost and timescale. Unfortunately it's the nature of construction and anyone who tries to say different is mistaken!

What this means is that fixed price agreements are very rarely that! Variations or Extras come into play with the cause ranging from an unforeseen circumstance that is simply “one of those things” through to huge changes of direction midway through the project which can generally be classified as “changes of mind”. Either way there are cost and timescale implications that will have to be faced up to.

At Red 7 Property we will be completely open with you and will explain the different costing methods, along with the pros and cons of each option. We have also devised a “value added” method of operating that you may well find is right for you. Whichever route you decide to take we will make sure you are aware of any potential pitfalls before they arise and exactly how they will be dealt with if they do. That way there are no surprises along the way for either of us!
